VIVENT HEALTH ELECTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS TO DRIVE VISION AND IMPACT

MILWAUKEE, WI – Vivent Health, a nationally recognized leader working to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic, proudly
announces the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors. These visionary leaders bring a wealth of
expertise and passion, poised to further Vivent Health’s mission and steer the organization toward greater heights
of impact.

Joining the Board of Directors are:

Matt Browning is the Director of Premium Support for Plex Systems by Rockwell Automation based in Michigan with over 20 years of experience driving innovation in cloud-based software support service. Most recently, Matt served as Chair of the Board of Directors of UNIFIED HIV Health and Beyond. He previously served on the Board of Lifelong AIDS Alliance in Seattle, Washington and has over a decade of HIV Non-Profit board experience. Matt balances his time between Detroit, Michigan and Palm Springs, California.

Clarence Jennings, Jr. is the Vice President of Student Services at Washtenaw Community College (WCC) in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he is responsible for leading the development and administration of WCC’s Student Services Division, including leading initiatives for equitable and positive outcomes for all WCC students. Clarence has expertise in quality improvement processes that promotes student success, retention, and completion. He also serves as WCC’s Title IX Coordinator. Clarence holds a Master of Arts in Education and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Michigan-Flint. Clarence joined the UNIFIED HIV Health and Beyond Board of Directors in 2023 and served as Treasurer.

Eve Mokotoff has worked in the field of HIV for over three decades, focused on collecting and using HIV surveillance data for prevention and care and providing input on national HIV policies. Beginning in 1986 she established, guided, and led the state of Michigan’s HIV surveillance program. Most recently as Director of HIV Counts, she has provided technical assistance to over 30 health departments on various topics including security and confidentiality of HIV data, HIV cluster response, and identifying evidence-based interventions. She served on the Board of Directors of UNIFIED HIV Health and Beyond for 11 years, serving as Board Chair 2019-2021. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin and her Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology from the University of Michigan. She resides in Ann Arbor, MI.

Brian Sims is an American politician, activist, and attorney. A Democrat, he was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 182nd district from 2013 until 2022. Sims is also a lawyer and advocate for LGBT civil rights. Sims is the first openly gay elected state legislator in Pennsylvania history. He won re-election on November 6, 2018. He was also a candidate for the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania in 2022. Since leaving public office in 2022, Sims has served as the Managing Director of Government Affairs and
Public Policy at Out Leadership. In 2023, he joined the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Clementi Foundation. Sims currently resides in New York, NY.
