Donate the Gift of Your Time & Talents

In the fight against HIV, nothing less than a champion will do. Our volunteers are our champions. They have always been integral in advancing the Vivent Health mission to help people affected by HIV thrive. They are the champions behind our cause and play an important role in carrying out our work. From filling orders in the Vivent Health food pantry to lending your professional expertise to providing outreach to people at-risk for HIV, we always aim to connect the unique talents of our community with our services to decrease the impact of HIV and to build healthy communities.

Experiences For Everyone

Whatever level of commitment you’re looking to make, we have something to match. The opportunities below represent the variety of programs you could serve in, with varying levels of commitment.

Food Pantry Vivent Health food pantries provide food for individuals and families. Volunteers can help sort and stock shelves, load and unload deliveries and package and distribute food.

Administration Volunteers and interns can assist with day-to-day support to staff in various departments. Responsibilities may include preparing materials for mailing, filing and data entry.

Development and Special Events Vivent Health fundraising events are essential to our success. Volunteers can assist with planning and organization, set-up, registration, guest relations, and clean-up. See a list of all events by location here.

The Octopus Club – Austin The Octopus Club is a grassroots, volunteer fundraising arm of Vivent Health (formerly AIDS Services of Austin) dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the Paul Kirby Emergency Fund through annual events and parties. The Paul Kirby Emergency Fund provides emergency financial assistance to those living with HIV and AIDS in Central Texas. These funds are distributed to individuals for basic living needs through Vivent Health on a case-by-case basis. The AIDS Crisis isn’t over and our mission goes on. Help us put the “fun” back in fundraising.

Social Services Volunteers and interns can help in legal services, housing, and case management programs on an as-needed basis to connect people in our community with additional services.

Prevention Services You can help conduct outreach and prevention education programs targeting individuals who are at the highest risk for HIV.

Thanks for advancing our mission and enhancing our communities with your time and talent.
