Dr. Winsome Panton is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner at Vivent Health. Dr. Panton has been working with the HIV/AIDS population for the past 11 years and received certification as an HIV Specialist from the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM). As a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Panton manages all medical aspects of HIV/AIDS for her patients and she also works with pregnant women who are HIV-positive. She believes in a holistic model of care focusing on the physical, mental, social and emotional aspect of care. Dr. Panton has an interest in HIV patients who are co-infected with hepatitis C. Dr. Panton received her BSN, MSN and doctorate from Marquette University and also has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Central Connecticut State University. She is also a preceptor for Marquette University’s Nurse Practitioner students. Dr. Panton received the Distinguished Alumna in Service to Nursing Award from the College of Nursing at Marquette University in 2008.
