Dr. Estrada utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, tailoring elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to fit each client’s unique needs. Her approach balances accountability with empathy so she can support clients in making meaningful progress while also creating space to process life experiences in an authentic, safe, and collaborative environment.

Dr. Estrada is especially passionate about addressing the intersection of physical and mental health. Her work in nonprofits has reinforced her belief in the critical need for integrated care models like that at Vivent Health. Her pursuit of a PhD was rooted in her dedication not only to her clients, but to her role in supporting and overseeing fellow mental health professionals to ensure that they are well-supported in adhering to ethical standards, maintaining their own wellbeing, and providing the best possible care to patients. This commitment is central to her role in supporting both clients and clinical teams in navigating the emotional and psychological impacts of HIV.
