Dr. Amesika Nyaku is an assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a physician-researcher. She is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine where she completed medical school, Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship. She provides clinical care for people living with HIV and other infectious diseases and has a specialized focus in providing harm reduction centered services to those that also use substances. Her research is based in equity focused biomedical clinical trials for HIV treatment, prevention, and substance use and on the implementation of interventions that strengthen care delivery for HIV care and substance use. When she is off the clock, she enjoys art and going out to eat.
