Dr. Lauren Touleyrou is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Wayne State University School of Medicine and an attending physician at the Detroit Medical Center. She also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Infectious Disease Fellowship.
Dr. Touleyrou earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences and her Master of Public Health from Walden University. She completed her internal medicine residency at Ascension Providence Hospital, followed by her infectious disease fellowship at Wayne State University.
Her clinical and academic interests include HIV care and prevention, gender-affirming care for people living with HIV, and medical education.
Outside of work you can find her cycling, hanging out with family, or cheering on a Detroit sports team.
