Dr. Mark Townsend, a Psychiatrist based in Austin, TX, has joined Vivent Health as Staff Psychiatrist and National Program Director for Psychiatry. Dr. Townsend will be providing Psychiatric care in Austin in addition to his duties as National Program Director.
Dr. Townsend is a member of the Association of LGBTQ Psychiatrists and has additional training and expertise in substance use disorders as well. He comes to us from the University of Texas – Austin, where he most recently was the founding Medical Director of the UT Health Austin Adult Psychiatry Clinic and the Associate Chair of Education.
