Dr. Lakshmi Chauhan obtained her medical degree in India and completed her internal medicine residency there. Following that she worked in a medical college in Nepal which served a remote area of eastern Nepal. After moving to the United States, she completed internal medicine residency training again and worked in primary care in rural Colorado. Currently, Dr. Chauhan is Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at University of Colorado where she is involved in the inpatient consultation service and outpatient infectious disease practice.
