Michelle Hemken

Michelle Hemken is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; her undergraduate degree is from UW-LaCrosse and she earned her graduate degree from Edgewood College.  Michelle has experience working with individuals across the life span, couples, parents, and families. She is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist as well as kink and poly friendly. She welcomes individuals to bring their culture, beliefs and backgrounds into her office and recognizes these as the connections from which we are molded. Michelle uses a systemic perspective in therapy and offers support through multiple approaches included by not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), structural family therapy, narrative therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
