Vivent Health Welcomes Dr. Mia Scott
Scott and Vivent Health will enhance and expand services for people at risk for and living with HIV.
Vivent Health is pleased to announce that today Dr. Mia Scott joins our HIV Medical Home team to expand access to HIV and PrEP services to people with and at-risk for HIV. Vivent Health is a nationally renowned HIV health care provider committed to serving everyone affected by HIV. Its HIV Medical Home model of care allows people living with HIV access to a large menu of onsite services that include a full-service specialty pharmacy, dental care, behavioral health, case management, housing assistance and food pantry services.
Dr. Mia Scott will assume the role of Medical Director at Vivent Health, which is committed to continuing to significantly expand programs and services to build healthier lives for Coloradans.
Dr. Scott is a leading provider of HIV care in Denver, having been in practice in the area since 2002. At Vivent Health, Dr. Scott will continue her commitment to a personal, humanitarian approach to health care and her current patients are welcome to join her at Vivent Health’s state of the art, brand new location. Dr. Scott’s extensive knowledge on HIV, hepatitis C and transgender care will serve her well as new Medical Director for Vivent Health.

In the Denver metro area, there are currently 10,154 people living with HIV, but only 74% of people are connected to and getting the care they need to manage HIV, according to AIDSVu.org. With locations in Colorado, Missouri, Wisconsin and Texas, Vivent Health has the scale and resources to enhance care for the Denver community through integrated prevention, care and treatment services.
