Important Dates & Deadlines

Colorado

  • 10/11 – Vote By Mail Starts (CO): State officials begin mailing ballots to registered voters.
  • 10/21 – Early Voting Starts (CO): Early voting in person is available at any local voting center in your county (hours vary by location). You can also return your ballot at any secure ballot dropbox in the state (open 24/7 until 7 PM on Election Day). [More Info Here]
  • 10/28 – Online Voter Registration Deadline (CO): Last day to update your voter registration online. You can still register to vote in person at any local voting center through Election Day. [Register to Vote] 
  • 11/5 – In person voting centers are open 7 AM – 7 PM MT. You can register to vote/update your registration in person at the polls if needed. All ballots must be received by elections officials or placed in a secure ballot dropbox by 7 PM today. [More Info Here]

Illinois

  • 9/26 – Early Voting Starts (IL): Registered voters can begin voting early in person (you may register to vote at the poll) [Click here for more info]
  • 10/20 – Online Voter Registration Deadline (IL): Last day to register to vote online or by mail. You  can still register in person at your  local elections office or at the polls on Election Day. [Register to Vote]
  • 10/31 – Vote by Mail Requests Due (IL): Last day to apply to vote by mail. Applications sent online or by mail must be received by election officials on this day. You can still apply to vote by mail at your local elections office through November 4th. [More Info Here]
  • 11/4 – Early Voting Ends (IL): Last day to vote early in person at local early voting sites. [More Info Here] 
  • 11/5 – Polls open 6 AM – 7 PM CT. You can register to vote/update your registration at your assigned polling place if needed. Vote by mail ballots must be received by election officials or placed in a secure ballot dropbox by 7 PM today. [More Info Here]

Michigan

  • 9/26 – Ballot Dropboxes Open (MI); Secure vote at home (absentee) ballot drop boxes become available 24/7 locally [Look up dropboxes near you].
  • 10/21 – Online Voter Registration Deadline (MI): Last day to register to vote online or by mail. You can still register to vote in person at your local elections office through Election Day. [Register to Vote] 
  • 10/24 – Early Voting Starts (MI): Early voting in person is available to all registered voters at local early voting sites (hours vary by location). [More Info Here]
  • 11/1 – Vote at Home Requests Due (MI): Last day to apply online to vote at home/by mail.  You can still apply in person at your local elections office through 8 PM on Election Day. [More Info Here]
  • 11/3 – Early Voting Ends (MI): Last day to vote early in person at local early voting sites. [More Info Here] 
  • 11/5 – Polls open 7 AM – 8 PM ET. You can register to vote/update your voter registration at your local elections office if needed. Vote from home (mail) ballots must be placed in a secure ballot dropbox or received by election officials by 8 PM today. [More Info Here]

Missouri

  • 9/24 – Absentee Voting Starts (MO): Registered voters with a qualifying excuse can begin voting early in person.  [Click here for more info] 
  • 10/9 – Voter Registration Deadline (MO): Last day to register to vote. [Register to Vote] .
  • 10/22 – Early Voting Starts (MO): Early noting in person is available to all registered voters at any local early voting center (hours vary by location). [More Info Here]
  • 10/23 – Vote by Mail Requests Due (MO): Last day for voters with a qualifying excuse to apply to vote absentee by mail. Applications must be received by election officials by 5 PM today. [More Info Here] 
  • 11/4 – Early & Absentee Voting Ends (MO): Last day to vote early or absentee in person at local early voting sites. [More Info Here]
  • 11/5 – Polls open 7 AM – 7 PM CT; you must bring an accepted form of photo ID with you to the polls. All ballots must be received by elections officials by 7 PM today.  [More Info Here]

Texas

  • 10/7 – Voter Registration Deadline (TX): Last day to register to vote. [Update your registration]  
  • 10/21 – Early Voting Starts (TX): Early voting in person is available to all registered voters at local early voting sites. Hours may vary by location. [More Info Here] 
  • 10/25 – Vote by Mail Requests Due (TX): Last day for voters with a qualifying excuse to apply to vote absentee by mail. Applications must be received by officials on this date. [More Info Here] 
  • 11/1 – Early Voting Ends (TX): Last day to vote early in person at local early voting sites. [More Info Here] 
  • 11/5 – Polls open 7 AM – 7 PM CT; you must bring an accepted form of photo ID with you to the polls. Absentee mail ballots must be sent by today and must be received by elections officials by 5 PM tomorrow. [More Info Here]

Wisconsin

  • 10/16 – Online Voter Registration Deadline  (WI): Last day to update your voter registration online. You can still register to vote in person during early voting or on Election Day. [Register to Vote]
  • 10/22 – Early Voting Starts (WI): Early voting in person is available at local early voting locations (hours vary by location). You will need to bring an ID and you can register to vote while casting your ballot. [More Info Here] 
  • 10/31 – Vote by Mail Requests Due (WI): Last day to apply online to vote by mail. You can still submit a request in person at your county clerk’s office through November 3rd. [More Info Here]
  • 11/3 – Early Voting Ends (WI): Last day to vote early in person at local  early voting locations. [More Info Here] 
  • 11/5 – Polls open 7 AM – 7 PM CT; you must bring a valid form of photo ID with you to the polls. All ballots, including mail ballots, must be received by elections officials or placed in a secure ballot dropbox by 7 PM today. [More Info Here]
