All-In For Austin

We Need Your Help in Austin, TX.

Dear Friend,

This morning people living with HIV in Austin woke up to another day of the ongoing catastrophe. They need your help. Devastation of this magnitude compels us into action. Join Vivent Health today to save lives!

Images of snow and reports of unprecedented cold from Austin fall far short of describing the full scope of the ongoing crisis. Days of brutal low temperatures, power outages, no heat and no water have taken their deadly toll. Spoiling food and empty grocery stores are leading to scarcity.

Water pipes that exploded in freezing weather are leaving homes uninhabitable. Housing instability is becoming homelessness. People are managing a week of lost income in the face of unforeseeable costs and risk being plunged even deeper into poverty. Exorbitant heating and energy costs need to be covered. Refrigerators need to be repaired and restocked. Drinkable water is just not available, meaning bottled water must be found.

Vivent Health has created the All-in for Austin Fund to meet emergency needs today. Your help is needed now! We are going All-in for Austin, committing to raise $50,000 in funding to help Central Texans with HIV.

The human toll and financial devastation of this natural disaster is enormous for people with HIV. We serve some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Many of our patients and clients struggle daily to overcome their HIV infection and have been trying to fend off the COVID-19 pandemic for over a year. They now are facing a new, daily emergency blocking them from meeting their basic needs.

Your support of the Vivent Health All-in for Austin Fund will help people living with HIV with plumbing, electrical and housing repairs. You will provide short term housing when homes are uninhabitable.

Your support will replenish empty cupboards and assure safe and sanitary drinking water. With your assistance medications will be offered amidst the ongoing crisis and financial support will be provided for the countless needs of people with HIV.

Vivent Health’s greatest strength is assuring a fierce national response to the HIV epidemic. Today your help is needed in Austin and central Texas amidst the ongoing, life-threatening crisis. I am pleased to share with you we have secured $15,000 in support from across the country to address this emergency. Please join them in being a champion for people living with HIV who are currently in need in Austin. Every gift is impactful in an urgent situation like this.

At Vivent Health we Thrive. Together. Please join me in continuing to champion people with HIV in Austin and central Texas. Click the blue button below to make your gift today.
